Devastated plea from Swindon art student to help find lost work

A devastated art student and her mother appeal to the public of Swindon to help her find her lost work.

Year 10 student Ellie Miles, 15, from Westlea believes she left her GCSE A3 art book on the 154 bus at Ashington House on Thursday July 21, and despite a thorough search she did not could find it.

“I went home on the bus and sat on the upper deck in the back where I put the art book behind me on some sort of shelf,” she said.

“I got off quickly at my stop, grabbed my bag, but left my artbook, which I’ve since regretted a lot.”

Ellie added that she was struggling to complete her GCSE in art and could also miss doing an A-level in fine art at New College.

Her mother Lorraine, 46, is now offering a small reward for her safe return and urging members of the public to help.

“Our search has been thorough, all leads have been covered. Many kind people have tried to help, but we are still no closer to finding her,” she said.
