New Art Classes at Honolulu Museum of Art School

Honolulu (KHON2) – : New art classes added for the fall semester at the newly renovated Honolulu Museum School of Art, including a variety of printmaking classes.

After two years of renovations, the school at the Honolulu Museum of Art is now open, allowing its public to enroll in future courses.

“We’re excited to reopen and excited to be able to bring new experiences and classes to the community. Online class registration is in full swing and we’re excited to announce that we’ve also added new classes to the lineup. , including exploring art classes for children and adults,” said Christine Boutros, Associate Director of Learning and Engagement.

With the reopening of the art school, Boutros says they are offering a newly renovated printmaking studio and new printing presses.

“Classes include all types of printmaking such as woodcut, intaglio, relief printing, screen printing, and we offer introductory classes for children and adults who are new to printmaking and who wish to learn more about a variety of techniques and practices”, explains Helena Noordhoff, Art School Professor, Printmaking.
