| Santa Clarita’s new arts program pairs artists with businesses

Businesses and artists are invited to collaborate to exhibit artwork at local establishments through the City of Santa Clarita’s new arts program, “Places with Spaces.”

The city’s arts division has announced the launch of a new program to help businesses in all industries find the perfect artist(s) to display artwork at their facility.

Applications for businesses and artists can be completed online at Squares with spaces.

Santa Clarita Businesses: Looking for original artwork to adorn the walls of your establishment?

Artists: Looking to expand the reach of your works and attract new potential buyers?

Applications are now open to join the City of Santa Clarita’s new Places with Spaces program.

The process is simple:

— The City of Santa Clarita will serve as a liaison (or matchmaker) for businesses and artists.

— Companies will choose from the portfolio of participating artists for their next exhibition.

— The city will connect the two parties by creating an artistic and commercial relationship.

Places with Spaces is currently building a portfolio of residents and non-residents. Artists are invited from outside the Santa Clarita Valley as long as they are within driving distance to handle their installations in person, artwork cannot be shipped. Businesses located only in Santa Clarita are welcome to apply.
